US Congress begins debate of Trans-Pacific Partnership

The US Congress is starting months of debate over whether to endorse
the recently agreed Trans-Pacific Partnership.

The deal which includes 12 countries, accounting for 40% of the global
economy, needs to be ratified by American lawmakers.
