Solar winds strip Mars of atmosphere needed for life

NASA says it's gathered critical data showing how Mars is losing its atmosphere.

The US space agency believes the Red Planet might once have harbored life, but it says solar winds are stripping away the atmosphere making the climate on the surface unfavorable.
