OPEC MEMBERS GATHER IN VIENNA AMID PRODUCTION DEBATE

Oil producing countries have gathered in Vienna amid debate over whether OPEC should cut production to boost oil prices.

The 167th summit of Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) comes with ongoing volatility in the energy market with oil prices having fallen around 40% in a year.

However, it's expected members of the group will agree on Friday to maintain current production levels, despite the difficulties this is causing some OPEC governments in balancing their budgets.
