The death toll from Nepal's catastrophic Bhotekoshi floods has risen to more than twelve hundred and fifty, with over four thousand people still unaccounted for more than a week after a glacier collapse triggered what officials have called a Himalayan tsunami.
Nepal's foreign minister says the government is still trying to save lives, including some nine hundred workers believed trapped inside hydropower tunnels buried under thick mud.
Survivors have been holding symbolic funerals for those feared lost, while rescue crews race to reach those who may still be alive.
