Helicopter rescue operations have resumed in Nepal on Saturday after poor weather temporarily halted efforts to reach survivors of catastrophic flash floods and mudslides that have killed at least 626 people in the country alone.
The combined death toll across Nepal and Tibet has risen to more than 630, with nearly three thousand people still missing, including around 90 Americans.
The US Geological Survey says a glacial collapse triggered the disaster, which has been described as one of the worst to hit Nepal in recent years.
