A magnitude 5.2 earthquake was recorded north of Kathmandu on Wednesday, though no damage or casualties have been reported and the quake does not appear to have been widely felt.
The event, logged by the United States Geological Survey near the Nepal-China border, was also recorded at a lower magnitude of 4.4 by other seismic monitoring networks.
Before the limited impact of the quake was confirmed, FSN's Ishan Garg reported on the flood risks that Indian states face from Nepal's Himalayan river systems during seismic events.
