The Board of Peace has already retreated from its original plan for simultaneous withdrawal and disarmament, now saying Israel would pull back only after Hamas hands over its weapons — but that has still not satisfied Jerusalem.
Hamas, for its part, says it accepted the roadmap but is awaiting a clear response from mediators on what was agreed.
