Zelenskyy fires army chief after protests

Ukraine’s President Volodymyrr Zelenskyy has announced the firing of the country’s commander in chief.


The decision follows protests sparked by the decision to sack the popular Defense Minister Mykhailo Federov.


Meanwhile in Brussels EU ambassadors are working to reach consensus on a 21st Russian sanctions package.
