Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has arrived at the White House for a closed-door meeting with US President Donald Trump — their first face-to-face since the war on Iran began roughly five months ago.
Israel's ambassador to the United Nations has said the top item on the agenda is scaling down the conflict, though he acknowledged there are different options on the table.
President Trump earlier rebuked the Israeli leader for publicly revealing intelligence about an Iranian nuclear site, asking why he had not raised it privately.
