Venezuela's acting President Delcy Rodriguez is set to arrive in New Delhi on Wednesday as India ramps up its oil procurement from Caracas. 

The visit comes as New Delhi has been dealing with fuel supply disruptions due to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and the looming threat of the US revoking its temparary waiver on some sanctioned Russian oil.
