STARMER HOSTS CABINET AFTER DOCUMENT DUMP

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer hosts a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, after embarrassing documents about his government were released.

Contained in a tranche of messages related to the controversial appointment of Peter Mandelson as ambassador to Washington - were communications in which ministers bemoaned the state of the government and Keir Starmer's leadership.

The government is denying there was any ministerial interference in a series of redactions made to the published documents.

Labour MP Joe Powell has sympathy with those whose messages and texts were published.
