INDIA'S NEET MEDICAL ENTRANCE RE-EXAM UNDER WAY WITH TIGHTENED SECURITY AFTER PAPER LEAK SCANDAL

More than two million students across India are sitting a re-run of the country's national medical entrance exam, after the original test was cancelled over paper leak allegations that prompted a federal investigation.

The National Testing Agency scrapped the exam held on the third of May and ordered the re-test amid a political backlash, with opposition parties demanding accountability.

Authorities have deployed the Air Force to transport exam papers and installed surveillance cameras at more than five thousand test centres.

Rebecca Bundhun reports from IIT Bombay, one of the examination centres.
