Hundreds of Iraqi-Kurdish migrants trying to reach to the UK were “tortured and threatened with organ removal” last year, according to British media.
Hostages who made it out told the BBC they were captured by a Libyan militia which blackmailed their families into paying $5000 under threat of having a kidney removed.
