UK RELAXES SANCTIONS ON RUSSIAN OIL TO SECURE SUPPLY

The UK has relaxed some sanctions on Russian oil to try to guarantee supply and bring down costs as the British economy struggles with the impact of the war in Iran.

Treasury Minister Dan Tomlinson told media on Wednesday it was a necessary move to protect the supply of “really important goods” like jet oil.
