Russian President Vladimir Putin is on official 2-day visit to China to discuss international issues, global security and energy cooperation with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. The two countries leaders extended the decades-old agreement on friendship and cooperation, and are expected to ink dozens bilateral agreements more cementing relations that, according to Putin, had reached an “unprecedentedly high level”. President Putin’s visit comes on the heels of U.S. President Donald Trump’s high-profile summit in the Chinese capital last week. Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.
