Two police officers who defend the U.S. Capitol on January 6th 2021 have sued to block anyone from receiving payouts from the Trump adminstration's new $1.8 billion settlement fund for people who claim to be victims of politically motivated prosecutions.
At the same time, some of those who received presidential pardons for their role in the attack on the Capitol are already preparing their applications.
