TRUMP'S IRAN DEADLINE APPROACHES

A deadline is approaching for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face 'complete demolition' of Iranian infrastructure.

US President Donald Trump is threatening to take Iran 'to the Stone Ages' unless Tehran complies (by 2000ET / 0000GMT).

Iran's state media says the country is rejecting the latest US ceasefire proposal.

It's reported the UK would be likely to refuse permission for its bases to be used by the US to strike civilian infrastructure.

Former UK deputy national security adviser Paddy McGuinness believes that would be a mistake from London.
