NATO chief defends security alliance to Trump while acknowledging it was slow to help with Iran war


NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte says that member countries are doing everything U.S. President Donald Trump had requested to strengthen the military alliance, even if some were initially "a bit slow" to provide support to the US amid its war with Iran.

Reuters news agency is reporting that the NATO chief has briefed some European capitals that President Trump wants concrete commitments within the next few days for help securing the Strait of Hormuz
