Cuba to Release More Than 2,000 Prisoners

The Cuban government is releasing two thousand prisoners in what it's calling a "humanitarian and sovereign gesture."

It comes as Washington has been putting increasing pressure on Cuba in recent months, including through a monthlong oil blockade.
