Airports in the United States are experiencing "the highest wait times in history" according to the acting head of the Transportation Security Administration. During congressional testimony, Ha Nguyen McNeill said more than 480 agents have quit after more than a month without pay under the partial government shutdown. To try to address the airport lines President Trump has reassigned Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to support the TSA.
