Iran loosens restrictions on some shipping transiting Strait of Hormuz

Iran has loosened restrictions on some shipping transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

Tehran's UN mission says "non-hostile vessels" can pass through the crucial waterway if they coordinate with the Iranian authorities.

It comes amid reports that at least 1,000 extra US troops are set to deploy to Middle East,
