UKRAINE PEACE TALKS SET FOR ABU DHABI

Two days of peace talks between US, Ukrainian and Russian officials are due to begin in Abu Dhabi.

They are the first trilateral negotiations since Moscow's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022.

Before those talks, President Putin has been meeting with an American delegation at the Kremlin for what Moscow said were 'useful' discussions.

Former UK defence minister Tobias Ellwood says he's not holding out much hope about the talks in Abu Dhabi.
