US President Donald Trump says countries trading with Iran will face 25% tariffs on imports to the US as he aims to pressure Tehran over its crackdown of anti-government protests.
India is among countries that could be impacted even as Delhi-Tehran trade has reduced by 90% since 2019.
The latest tariff threat comes as Delhi and Washington have been negotiating a trade pact that India hopes will lead to a reduction in the 50% tariffs already imposed on it.
