Amazon cuts 16,000 more jobs in the US

Amazon, the second-largest private employer in the United States, is laying off 16,000 more workers after already making 14,000 redundant in October last year.

It comes a day after details of the decision were accidentally emailed to staff before they had been informed of the move.
