French budget nears crucial vote, PM may resign if vote fails

The French parliament is preparing for a crucial budget vote - though there is no certainty that it will pass despite Socialist support for Emmanuel Macron's government.

If Tuesday's vote fails - the prime minister, Sebastien Lecornu, will resign again.

He first stood down in October, but was reappointed by the president.
