The French parliament is preparing for a crucial budget vote - though there is no certainty that it will pass despite Socialist support for Emmanuel Macron's government.
If Tuesday's vote fails - the prime minister, Sebastien Lecornu, will resign again.
He first stood down in October, but was reappointed by the president.
