The United States and Ukraine have agreed at peace talks in Geneva that any future peace deal must "fully uphold Ukraine's sovereignty".
The two sides released a joint statement saying they would continue to work on joint proposals in the coming days, but that the final decisions on a possible peace deal would be made by the two presidents.
