Trump pledges to "permanently pause” migration from ‘third world countries’

US president Donald Trump has vowed to permanently pause migration from 'third world countries" after two national guardsmen were shot this week near the White House. 20-year-old Army specialist Sarah Beckstrom has died from her wounds… while 24-year old Andrew Wolfe is fighting for his life. Officials identified the alleged gunman as an Afghan national, who came to the US on a Biden era visa after the US military withdrawal. Toni Waterman has more from Washington
