India has reportedly lodged a diplomatic protest against China after an Indian origin woman was detained at Shanghai Airport for about 18 hours.
The woman says officials denied her transit questioning her place of origin as her passport says Arunachal Pradesh in North Eastern India but the state is also claimed by China as part of South Tibet.
