French MPs set to debate suspending contentious pension reforms

On Wednesday, French MPs will debate suspending the government's contentious pension reforms.

Suspending the controversial law, which raises the retirement age from 62 to 64, is a condition of the opposition Socialists in return for temporarily supporting the government.
