INTRO:
A newly formed cyclonic system over the southwest Bay of Bengal has intensified into Cyclone Ditwah and is moving toward India's southeast coast. The storm is expected to make landfall in 24–48 hours, bringing heavy to very heavy rain across coastal districts with authorities ordering widespread evacuations.
