Federal workers union calls for government funding bill to be passed - putting pressure on Democrats to back down as shutdown enters day 27

As the US government shutdown enters its 27th day, the largest union representing federal government employees called for lawmakers to pass the funding bill, increasing pressure on Democrats to back down.

But a resolution doesn't seem close with President Trump on the other side of the world on a diplomatic trip to Asia.
