The Democratic Republic of Congo's Institute for the Conservation of Nature has suspended the export of parrots from the country's forests following the decline of the population of the African grey parrots.
The capture and export of the parrots is reported to have increased in the DRC to supply the growing demand for the birds that are sold as pets abroad. Chris Ocamringa reports from Kinshasa....
