The M23 rebels have recaptured a town in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo after defeating a pro-government militia in a battle in North Kivu province.
The town of Shoa had fallen into the hands of the Congolese army and the Wazalendo militia a few days ago, but was taken back after the clashes. Chris Ocamringa has more from Kinshasa....
