The Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda have agreed to start implementing security and economic measures next month to end the fighting that has left tens of thousands of people dead in eastern DRC since 2021. The measures are part of a US-brokered peace deal that the two rival countries signed in Washington DC in June. Chris Ocamringa has more Kinshasa.
