US supports Israel ceasefire decision

The United States supports Israel's decision to no longer pursue
partial ceasefires for the phased release of hostages held in Gaza, US
special envoy Steve Witkoff said Tuesday.

The Netanyahu government has vowed to push ahead with plans to seize
Gaza City and win the release of all of the hostages.
