North Carolina braces for high swells from Hurricane Erin

Hurricane Erin is set to batter parts of the U.S. East Coast on Tuesday, with North Carolina declaring a state of emergency in anticipation of swells up to 20 feet.

Erin isn't expected to make landfall in the U.S., but that hasn't stopped a number of cities and agencies from issuing warnings to residents.
