The M23 rebels have accused the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo of undermining ongoing peace efforts by deploying a large number of troops in the east of the country. The Spokesperson of the rebel group, Lawrence Kanyuka says the DRC army backed by troops from Burundi have deployed across key areas in the country's east. Congolese authorities have not yet responded to the accusation.
