Military pause takes effect in Gaza amid starvation fears

Some progress has been reported as the Israeli military takes steps to
address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, while aid groups warn much
more is needed.

Meanwhile, France and Saudi Arabia are hosting a conference at the UN
in New York on Monday on a two-state solution between Israel and the
Palestinians.
