Emmanuel Macron and Vladimir Putin hold their first phone call since 2022

Emmanuel Macron and Vladimir Putin have held their first phone call since 2022.

The two presidents discussed the situation surrounding Iran's nuclear programme after the  conflict with Israel in June, and they also addressed Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine.
