India's aviation regulator identified 51 safety lapses at Air India during its July audit, according to documents seen by news agency Reuters.
This comes as the airline has been under increased scrutiny following the crash of a London-bound flight last month which killed 241 of the 242 people on board and others on the ground.
Rebecca Bundhun has more from Mumbai.
