Reuters is reporting that the Federal Aviation Administration has privately issued notifications that the fuel switch locks on Boeing planes are safe.
This comes after the preliminary report investigating last month's Air India crash raised questions over engine fuel cutoff switches.
All but one passenger on board that London-bound flight died in that crash, making it one of the worst aviation disasters in recent history.
