US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick has said that India's purchase of defence equipment from Russia and its alignment with the BRICS group of nations have "rubbed the United States the wrong way".
This comes as the US and India are working on a bilateral trade agreement, with an interim deal expected to be announced in a matter of weeks.
