US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has heavily criticized the media
after the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend -
which he called "historically successful".
There has been conflicting information about whether the US
"obliterated" the sites as President Donald Trump has claimed.
It comes after Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei downplayed
the extent of the damage, saying Iran had delivered a big "slap in the
face" to the United States.
Hegseth lashed out at the media for its coverage of the airstrikes.
