EU leaders gather as trade deadline looms

The European Commission President has informed European leaders that
it's reviewing the latest text from the U.S. as efforts continue to
reach a trade deal.

The EU faces the prospect of tariffs rising to 50 percent if no
agreement is reached by July 9th.
