The Brazilian president is making a state visit to France ahead of a major ocean conference next week.
Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will spend two days in Paris before heading to southern France to take part in the summit on protection of the oceans.
He will also participate in a review of the troops and a state dinner with President Macron.
