Hamas has announced it will release an American hostage that was captured by the militant group during the October 7 attack on Israel.
The news comes as President Trump prepares to visit the Middle East Monday for a three country trip across the region. Hamas says the release was part of a "good will gesture" to the President ahead of the visit.
