French president Macron wants "tougher position" over Israel, says "moral duty" to recognise Palestine

The French president says France and other nations may need to "toughen position collectively" and "apply sanctions" if Israel does not allow humanitarian aid to flow freely.

Speaking on Friday, Emmanuel Macron also argued that it was an urgent responsibility to recognise a Palestinian state.
