Trump announces sweeping tariffs on all imports

US president Donald Trump has announced sweeping tariffs on all
imports entering the United States.

A baseline duty of 10% will be levied against all countries, along
with "reciprocal" tariffs on 100 nations with some of the highest
import taxes on US goods.

They include allies and trading partners the European Union, Japan and India.

Additionally, a 25% duty will start in the coming hours on all
foreign-made cars entering the US.
