US President Donald Trump has expressed "100 percent" confidence that the United States will reach a trade deal with the European Union.
His comments came as he hosted Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at the White House - the first European leader to visit Washington since Trump brought in 20% tariffs on the EU - then paused them - earlier this month.
