As part of President Donald Trump's global reciprocal tariffs, the US is imposing a reciprocal tariff of 26 per cent on India, despite New Delhi's efforts to try to get some relief from the trade policy.
President Trump described Indian prime minister Narendra Modi as "a great friend", but said he hasn't been treating the US "right".
